All activities are open to K-5th unless otherwise stated. Note that your
child does not have to be in ASP to participate in these activities. Please note, the activities and schedules are subject
to change before the school year starts. Please check back in August for current schedule.

Rembrandts Art Classes 2:30-3:30 Come draw with us! YR offers structured and educational drawing classes. Students
will complete a new drawing every class. There is an art history lesson once a month.

2:25-3:25 Cardio Kool KidsTM~the latest craze in kids' dance and fitness~
combines hip hop dance, kickboxing, sports drills, and strength training for an exciting fitness experience. Cardio
Kool KidsTM also educates boys and girls on healthy living through group discussion and journaling. All

Cheer Dance/Baton exact time to be announced Cheerleading, Jazz and Hip Hop along with the use of Poms as well as
basic tumbling skills. Structured, fun, high energy class! Learn basic twirls, proper fundamentals and parade marching skills.

BEGINNING DRAMA (Grades
K-2)
Wednesdays 2:25-3:25
Our introductory drama class is a fun and exciting way for
young children to discover the joys of theater, as we focus on all the fundamentals of drama and creative play through hands
on theater games and exercises. Students will work on movement, listening skills, speech skills, character development, storytelling,
and teamwork as they create, design and perform their own original play at the end of the session.
THE ACTING
LAB (Grade levels 3-5)
Wednesdays 3:30-4:30
This class inspires young actors to create
original characters, develop scenes & monologues, and collaborate on their own original play based on a popular piece
of literature. We focus on character movement, blocking, voice & speech, and rehearsal process through a series of fun
improv games, dramatic challenges and exercises. Students will work to improve listening skills, character acting, teamwork,
storytelling, and performance skills, as they create, design, and perform their own original show to be performed at the end

*NEW* Garrison Mill Show Choir-Spring Semester-meets Wed and Fri 2:30-3:30
Students will learn 4 songs with choreography. Examples are Seasons of Love from the musical Rent, Uptown Girl by Billy Joel
and Seize the Day from Newsies. They will be taught vocal warm ups, different vocal styles, and various performing techniques.
There will be opportunities for both solos and duets and there will be a performance at the end of the session with a pizza
party to celebrate!

songs, music, low student teacher ratio, native Spanish speakers, excellent curriculum!
Kid Chess 2:25-3:25
and 3:30-4:40 Develops a wide range of cognitive skills, including analysis, planning, problem solving, focus and memory.
